Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit with cardiac population. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Assignment may include telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients. Holiday coverage required (Thanksgiving or day after, plus Christmas Eve/Day OR New Year's Eve/Day).

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain cases
• Experience with cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Progressive care environment with potential telemetry assignments based on unit needs
• Structured nurse-to-patient ratios ensuring quality care delivery
• Minimum 2-year assignment in a comparable facility setting

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit experience in a similar-sized facility
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Experience managing cardiac drips and cardiac patient populations
• Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
