Obstetric and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 24;On Call Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

 

Details and requirements for this opportunity: 

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage; urgent dates available from July through January (multiple blocks of coverage needed)

Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital; Family Birthing Center with dedicated Labor and Delivery unit and Operating Room for Cesarean Sections

Patients/Deliveries: Approximately 25–40 deliveries per month (average 23–30)

Types of Cases: Full Obstetrics and Gynecology, vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, gynecologic surgery, emergency department call for Obstetrics and Gynecology-related issues

Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 10 days from completed application

Electronic Medical Record: Cerner

Certifications Required: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible within 5 years; Drug Enforcement Administration registration required during credentialing

Licensure Required: Active California medical license
