ABA SHINE is looking for a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide urgent case 1:1 behavior respite in Discovery Bay, CA.

Position: Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Home-based, Bay Discovery Bay

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour

Shifts: Part-time 8 hours weekend shift every Saturday and potentially both Saturdays and Sundays.

About the Case: We are urgently seeking experienced and reliable Behavior Technicians or RBTs to provide 1:1 support for a sweet young teen male, 10 y Male. The position involves helping with hygiene and showers. The client is very sweet and has behavioral concerns. Very easy redirect and managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 direct behavior support and supervision
• Implement behavior intervention strategies as directed by a BCBA
• Ensure client safety and de-escalate aggressive or unsafe behavior
• Accurately document session notes and incident reports
• Collaborate with facility staff and clinical team

Requirements:

• RBT certification or strong experience in behavior support/crisis intervention
• Ability to manage high-intensity behaviors professionally and safely
• Male candidates are preferred due to the client's specific needs
• Must be reliable, patient, and physically capable of managing aggressive episodes
• Livescan, CPR, and TB clearance required (or willingness to obtain quickly)
