Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Travel PTA Opportunity in Rockwall, TX

Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Rockwall, TX. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role requires adherence to safety and infection control practices, accurate documentation of patient progress, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with therapeutic modalities and interventions commonly used in outpatient settings, including exercise programs, gait training, balance and coordination training, and use of assistive devices.
• Ability to follow facility guidelines for safety, appearance, attendance, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with whirlpool, ultrasound, TENS, iontophoresis, and therapeutic pool modalities preferred.

Impacting Patient Care
