You will work with a great team of people, in a fun and collaborative environment, with room for advancement.Job Responsibilities:Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers.Ability to operate and perform light set-ups.Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and related technical data.Ability to perform minor preventative maintenance when necessary.Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat and safe work environment.Receive daily instructions from Production Supervisor and plan day accordingly using the "Shop Floor Control System".Must have proven skill to set up and operate machine centers.Must be versed in Rotary or Indexing capability 3 – 5 axis milling.Verify feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency.Optimize process to achieve maximum efficiency.Save updated programs, documents and picturesClock in and off operations according to sequence number of the work order.Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges.Deburr work in process.Train operators on the jobs before they start production.Train new hires or apprentices.Work in teams to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks of our workMeets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.Assists in formulating departmental strategic plan.ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2003 certification and compliance.Ensure company procedures and "best machine practices" are being always followed.Safety and OSHA compliance.Practice all PPE requirements.RequirementsEDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Minimum three to five years work experienceEnrolled in or vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.Practical knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & TExtensive knowledge of accepted inspection practicesKnowledge of CNC programming and G & M codeBasic to intermediate tool probeDemonstrated ability at operating computer numerical control machinesAbility to read blueprints to ensure accuracy in part makingAbility to speak basic English languageMust be able to understand three and four axis machining.Must have a working knowledge of computers.Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and work from handmade sketches.Demonstrated knowledge of G-Code programming and machine practices.Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills.Physical Demands While Performing The Job:Visual acuity: near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of partsHearing ability: ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate actionFrequently required to stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floorFrequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controlsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsWorking Environment Of The Job:Must be able to lift and lower 30-50lbs.High noise levels from operating machinesPhysical hazards from moving equipment and machine partsBreathing fumes, dust, and mist
