Peptide Biochemist
$23.5 - $25.5 per hourEurofins
Eurofins seeks a peptide biochemist to perform small-scale peptide synthesis, automated purifications using HPLC/UPLC/LC-MS, and support laboratory operations in Indianapolis. The role involves chromatography, instrumentation maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute small-scale peptide synthesis and purification workflows
- Operate and maintain chromatography systems including HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MS
- Program and run high-throughput testing using laboratory automation equipment
- Prepare buffers, solutions, and manage lab inventory and equipment maintenance
- Document experimental data, maintain laboratory notebooks, and contribute to study reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field
- 2+ years laboratory experience with HPLC, UPLC, or LC-MS
- Demonstrated experience in peptide synthesis and buffer preparation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with laboratory automation and liquid handling systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with commitment to data quality and ALCOA+ principles
Compensation: $23.50-$25.50 base hourly
