TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46805!

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: ICU RN Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in ICU License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Candidates should be comfortable with vent management, vasoactive gtts, and psychiatric patients Description: Candidates should have a strong understanding of patient care in a critical setting. Experience with equipment such as ventilators and Bipap is essential. Familiarity with EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio in this unit is typically 1:2 or 1:3. Training will include two days on the floor following initial orientation. Mandatory attendance is required for the orientation. Candidates should be prepared to float to other critical care units as needed. A professional dress code is expected, with Caribbean blue scrubs designated for use.
