EKG Tech Lake Regional Health System Osage Beach, Missouri, United States About this position Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional EKG Tech to join our team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community. Key Responsibilities Utilizes various pieces of equipment to obtain accurate test results, enabling physicians to diagnose abnormalities of electrical activity in the heart. Performs electrocardiograms, stress testing, and Holter monitor scanning. Ensures optimum quality of testing through proficient pre-test preparation, machine calibration, and detailed patient instructions. Possesses knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, normal and abnormal cardiac electrical activity. Possesses current CPR certification. Utilizes hospital information system to obtain patient and hospital information. Performs general duties of the department to ensure efficient daily operations. Performs all clerical duties, including bookkeeping, filing, routing, charting, phones, and scheduling. Processes changes, orders, and stocks supplies. Performs daily maintenance of machines, and reports to work punctually and as scheduled. Attends all meetings and in-services as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Previously EKG experience required. Annual influenza vaccine and COVID vaccines are required. Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
