As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional field service support, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of our advanced technologies. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor and you'll work on-site out of our West Chester, Ohio location as a starting point. After the current project is completed (roughly 9 months), you will transfer to a 90% traveling technician position. In this role, you will impact the overall performance and reliability of our systems, enhancing our customers' operations and ensuring their success through your technical skills and customer-focused approach. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of Intelligrated systems and equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide training and support to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or a similar technical role.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of material handling systems and technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively.
- Familiar with Preventive Maintenance
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software relevant to field service operations.
- Ability to maintain reports in a timely manner
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Windows Software
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong experience in field service management or technical support.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and customer needs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PLC experience
