As our new Aquatics Lead your purpose will be to help us create a fun yet professional environment, providing our customers and their children with a great learning experience. You’ll work closely with the franchise owner and our swim instructors to help shape our school’s culture and commitment to running a smooth operation. You’ll also play a big role in helping bring more customers to the school and keeping them coming back.
This is a part-time position eventually moving to a full-time commitment. You will need to work flexible hours, including a regular weekend day and evenings. You will also need to be able to travel locally in the greater Anaheim area to visit our pools. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as needed, includes special needs/adaptive aquatics
• Managing Swim Instructors at multiple pool locations as needed on varying days and hours
• Engaging with parents on deck, articulating student progress and areas for improvement
• Providing the initial training in the BSS swim method and the ongoing development of all our swim teachers
• Using BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality
• Evaluating swim instructor performance and creating performance improvement plans as necessary
• Offering guidance and support when managing difficult class situations
• Returning lead calls - some phone call handling - bilingual Helpful
• Reports to Aquatics Manager

Do you have what we are looking for? We train!!

• A great personality with a desire to work with kids in a fun environment while teaching survival skills
• Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival
• At least 1 years of experience leading a team
• Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a service business – especially if its child related
• Bilingual
