Job Title

Travel RN – PCU / Cardiac Stepdown (Nights)

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit with patient ratios of 4:1 on Telemetry and 3:1 on Stepdown
• Recover cardiac catheterization lab patients following procedures including stent placements, pacemaker insertions, MitraClip procedures, Micra pacemakers, and valve replacements
• Manage cardiac drips and provide comprehensive care for heart failure patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry for assigned patients
• Float to other cardiac units and medical-surgical floors as needed
• Work every other weekend; no on-call shifts required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Formal EKG training or demonstrated EKG interpretation skills
• Prior cardiac nursing experience in a telemetry or progressive care setting
