This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the 2026–2027 school year, working with a diverse student caseload in a friendly and collaborative environment. Based at a welcoming elementary school near Spruce Pine, NC, you'll provide comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 43 students and become a valued resource for students, families, and staff.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with school-aged children is highly desirable
• Strong preference for candidates with an active North Carolina SLP license
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop dynamic, student-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student support
• Maintain accurate records and data collection for progress monitoring and compliance
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for student needs
• Stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development
