Facility:
This facility is part of a regional healthcare network offering emergency medicine services through a hub-and-spoke care model. The medical center is a state-of-the-art 40-bed emergency department serving as the region's tertiary referral center with 330 beds and designation as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Physician - EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

Job Details:
• Position to start in 2027 due to upcoming retirements and expansion• Annual ED volumes of 42K patients/year in Duluth's brand new state-of-the-art 40-bed ED• Practice includes working approximately half shifts in Duluth and half in regional EDs• 8 and 9 hour shifts in Duluth with double & triple physician coverage plus APP support• Regional sites include Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River, and Superior WI• Regional sites feature 3.5K-12K patients/year, all level IV trauma• Regional shifts are typically 12-hour physician shifts or optional 24-hour shifts• Full spectrum emergency medicine care including pediatrics• Large catchment area with collaborative specialists and subspecialists (PICU/NICU teams, pediatric sub-specialists, neuro-interventional team, STEMI team)• Telemedicine support for stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, and cardiology• Teaching opportunities available with family medicine residents and medical students• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine• Excellent team player who works well with entire ED team, consultants and patients• Strong commitment to caring for patients both in Duluth and regional locations• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance• 401(k) plan with employer contributions• Professional development through training, tuition reimbursement, and educational programs• Flexible scheduling, generous time off, and wellness resources
