Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting during night shift hours.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Participate in holiday coverage, including working 1–2 of the designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
• Active Iowa State RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must provide a current resume/work history, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, copies of required certifications, and at least one supervisory reference.
• Must have a taxable home address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with heparin drip administration preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
