Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Hays, Kansas , beginning November 2026 .

This is a true independent-practice CRNA opportunity offering weekday scheduling, no initial call or weekend requirement, and a broad case mix including OB, pediatrics and regional anesthesia—all without cardiac cases.

Schedule

• Start: November 2026
• Ongoing locum tenens coverage
• Monday–Friday
• Shift options: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends initially
• No call required initially
• Optional participation in the call rotation for interested CRNAs

Practice Environment

• Independent CRNA practice
• Team structure: 4 Anesthesiologists | 12 CRNAs
• Level III Trauma Center
• Full-scope anesthesia practice
• CRNAs independently manage induction, maintenance and emergence

Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• ENT
• Endoscopy
• Urology
• Pediatrics
• OB and labor anesthesia
• No cardiac anesthesia

Required Clinical Skills

• Regional blocks
• Spinals
• Epidurals
• Independent perioperative anesthesia management
• OB anesthesia and labor analgesia

Requirements

• NBCRNA certification
• Kansas CRNA licensure preferred
• BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency with regional blocks, spinals and epidurals
• Independent-practice experience strongly preferred
