Role Description This full-time, on-site Medical Doctor role is based in Birmingham, AL. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to adult and senior patients, with a strong focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role also involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in population health management initiatives, and documenting patient encounters in the electronic health record. The physician is expected to foster trusted relationships, practice compassionate communication, and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical quality and patient experience. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related primary care specialty. Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Alabama, current DEA registration, and eligibility for credentialing with relevant payers. Strong clinical skills in adult and geriatric primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and care coordination. Proficiency in using electronic health records, documentation, and basic clinical informatics to support population health management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, demonstrate empathy, and collaborate effectively in a team-based care model. Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards. Ability to manage a structured patient schedule while maintaining focus on quality over volume and providing 5-star service. Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; experience with senior or Medicare populations is highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
