Assistant Manager

DESCRIPTION

We're hiring an Assistant Manager! As our Assistant Manager, you'll never be bored. You'll be responsible for making sure our Sonic restaurant runs smoothly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (if applicable)) as assigned to meet operational standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties - including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease - pursuant to operational standards.
• Regular attendance.

Additonal Duties:

• Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times.
• Maintaining operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed.
• Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy.
• Various other tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Great leadership skills
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
