Senior Tax & Assurance Accountant

Job Description Experience: Manager Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details --------- A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its team in Auburn, Washington. This position offers a unique blend of tax, assurance, and client advisory services, providing the opportunity to work directly with business owners across a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses and individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys both tax and financial statement engagements and is looking for a collaborative environment with long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Prepare and manage Review and Compilation engagements for business clients. Prepare GAAP-based financial statements and related disclosures. Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns. Work directly with business owners to provide accounting, tax, and advisory support. Assist clients with QuickBooks support, troubleshooting, and accounting best practices. Research tax and accounting issues and provide practical solutions to clients. Reconcile accounting records and assist with financial statement preparation. Support small and mid-sized businesses with a variety of accounting and compliance needs. Qualifications Required Experience 4+ years of public accounting experience. Recent experience preparing Reviews and Compilations. Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. Technical Skills Reviews & Compilations Financial Statement Preparation GAAP QuickBooks Microsoft Excel Tax Compliance & Tax Research Preferred CPA license or CPA candidate. Experience working with closely held businesses. Experience with Thomson Reuters products, including UltraTax. Exposure to construction or job costing environments is a plus.
