Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for a group of patients during a designated shift.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans based on the nursing process, aligned with the medical plan of care and patient/family input.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications/orders, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Deliver patient and family education; incorporate teaching and discharge needs into the overall plan of care.
- Delegate appropriate care tasks to licensed and unlicensed nursing staff based on current competence and scope of practice.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a telemetry/acute-care setting
- Willingness to travel and work a 3x12-hour schedule
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to coordinate with diverse care teams
- Ability to complete credentialing and background checks as part of the assignment
