How you’ll make an impact in this role Conduct preoperative assessments and exams to ensure patients are optimized for surgery. Monitor vital signs following anesthesia and identify and intervene in post‑operative complications. Administer and manage medications, IV fluids, and acute post‑operative pain management. Serve as the primary liaison to ensure a seamless transition of care throughout the perioperative process. Provide detailed post‑operative instructions to patients and caregivers to ensure a safe recovery at home. What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required. Education Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
