PRN CT Technologist

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in a collaborative healthcare setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort. They operate radiographic and CT equipment independently, adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, positioning patients correctly, administering contrast when needed, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability. They ensure proper documentation in RIS/PACS, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and infection control standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
