This position will be based out of Warrenton but will also work out of Banks as needed.

A day in the life:
- Roadside Electrical Work to include traffic signals, illumination, warning flashers, and other roadside features.
- Facility Electrical work.
- Work on and below bridge navigation, aviation and illumination electrical.
- Work is often in bucket trucks, scissor lifts and ladders.
- Use technology to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Work outdoors on a year-round basis in all weather conditions, often in close proximity to heavy highway traffic.
- Some work on structures of high elevation such as bridges, light towers and buildings.
- Must be available to work any time, 24/7, including holidays and respond to emergencies.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping and sitting in a vehicle for long periods.
- This position requires the ability to distinguish colors.

Minimum qualifications:
A General Journeyman Electrical license. Be sure a copy of your license is attached to your application form.
Special qualifications:
- This position requires a maximum 60 minute response time to 1960 SE Dolphin Ave, Warrenton 97146 OR for emergency call-outs.
- This position requires a maximum 60 minute response time to 48400 NW Sunset Hwy, Banks 97106 for emergency call-outs.
- You must possess a current, valid commercial driver's license B (CDL-B) with no air brake restrictions and no manual transmission restrictions, OR have the ability to acquire a class B commercial learner permit within 60 days of hire and a CDL-B with no air brake restrictions and no manual transmission restrictions removed within six months of hire (ODOT will cover training costs) to be considered eligible for this position.
- A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Clearinghouse registration and full query check for our final candidate(s) and annual query for current employees.
What we'd like to see:
- Demonstrated experience applying safety practices.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and mathematics, including Ohm's Law, load calculations, electrical measurements and basic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Demonstrated experience performing wiring, installation and repair tasks that require precision and manual dexterity.
- Proficient with use of power and hand tools.
