Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC, 28211 (United States) Job Overview: The Procurement Specialist will support procurement activities that contribute to ensuring the successful execution of assigned CCC Category Strategy Initiative(s), including performing market and spend analyses, understanding usage trends, aiding in bid contracting and negotiation, and assisting CCC internal end users with obtaining the right materials and services at the right value. Responsibilities Execute the ordering of supplies and services from suppliers for assigned CCC Category end users by analyzing costs and assisting in the negotiation of contract details. Participate in the review, maintenance, and processing of incoming requisitions and PO's, ensuring accuracy and updating PO's with changes and revisions. Conduct administrative buys independently and collaborate with and support business units with tactical and transactional purchasing. Support the solicitation of quotes and evaluation of bids as needed. Coordinate with suppliers and business partners to resolve routine issues such as past‑due PO's, match exceptions, discrepancies with billings, price, invoice issue resolution, updating, incrementing PO's, etc. Support the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers by drawing on external resources, experts to understand and suggest enhancements to the existing procurement processes and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school. Procurement knowledge acquired by at least 1 year. Procurement work experience (preferably related to supply chain). Knowledge of managing 2D printing commodity (preferred).
