Position Summary This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Integrity & Oversight (OIO), Internal Audit Division. The incumbent conducts a variety of audits, reviews, and follow‑up work across OCFO units, including audits of agency programs, assessments of information systems and internal controls, performance of follow‑up audits related to corrective action plans, and preparation of cumulative bi‑weekly activity reports for the Director of Internal Audit. Responsibilities Conduct audits of OCFO agencies, programs, functions, and activities to improve efficiency. Perform assessments and reviews of information systems and internal controls to assess risks and ensure compliance. Conduct follow‑up audits related to agencies’ implementation of corrective action plans. Prepare and submit cumulative bi‑weekly activity reports for the Director of Internal Audit. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in coordinating, planning, and conducting audits; reviewing internal controls for effectiveness and efficiency; developing audit plans; reviewing and analyzing audit findings; and writing detailed audit reports. Bachelor's degree earned at an accredited U.S. institution in accounting or a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that includes or is supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. Official transcripts verifying the degree and the required semester hours must be submitted. If applicable, foreign‑credential holders must provide a course‑by‑course evaluation of all foreign transcripts from a recognized evaluation service. Experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties described above, with proprietary experience approximately equal to the next lower grade level.
