Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Ability to work in a stressful environment Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
