Job Description Lead sophisticated professional liability and/or employment litigation matters from inception through resolution. Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, high-level counsel to clients. Draft and oversee complex motions, pleadings, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents. Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Manage client relationships and communicate directly with executives, professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders. Supervise and mentor associates and collaborate with attorneys across the litigation team. Evaluate case exposure, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate favorable outcomes. Manage multiple complex matters while maintaining high standards for responsiveness, analysis, and client service. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. Active California bar admission required. 5+ years of professional liability and/or employment litigation experience required. Strong litigation strategy, legal writing, deposition, discovery, and client management skills. Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters. Leadership and mentoring capabilities appropriate for a senior-level attorney. Trial, arbitration, mediation, or significant motion practice experience is highly valued.
