Front Desk Manager

Responsibilities Operate the Front Office efficiently and profitably, overseeing Guest Service Agents, Concierge, PBX, Bell/Valet Staff. Maintain service standards (Forbes, Preferred Legend, AAA) daily. Delegate duties to subordinates and organize workflows. Maximize room revenue and occupancy by controlling rates and availability at check‑in. Ensure adequate staffing across all Front Office areas. Enforce hotel quality standards, policies, procedures with Front Office staff. Assist in compiling annual operating budgets and keep costs within budget. Perform HR and training tasks—hiring, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions—alongside the Front Office Manager. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming for staff. Handle guest complaints and comments regarding the department tactfully. Cooperate and coordinate teamwork with other departments. Perform any other duties as required by the Front Office Manager or Resort Manager. Qualifications Minimum 2 years front‑office and/or supervisory experience, preferably in luxury hotels. Demonstrated management and leadership skills. Superior customer service skills. Excellent multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Sound accounting background, able to train staff in this area. Excellent computer skills. Ability to collaborate closely with other department managers for optimal guest satisfaction. Willingness to work holidays and weekends. Able to stand for prolonged periods. Compensation $65,000 Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
