Job Details
What You Will Do
- Supports all activities in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and food safety management system
- Report any quality and/or food safety problems to personnel of authority to initiate action.
- Operate fork/clamp industrial truck in safe manner
- Ensure equipment is in compliance with all safety regulations and inspections
- Process shipping information and work orders
- Transports materials for shipment and storage
- Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met
- Transports materials as required
- Inspects equipment as required
- Ensures machine Preventive Maintenance (PM) is performed according to the schedule
- Completes all required shipping/receiving forms
- Ensures pedestrian safety
- Other duties as instructed by Shipping Manager
What You Have to Offer
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Knowledge of machine Preventive Maintenance (PM), its performance according to the schedule
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving materials
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner at all times
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Complete and maintain certification of ProAmpac Industrial Truck Training
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to plan and perform multiple tasks
- Ability to perform basis mathematical skills
