Hotel: Charleston Embassy Suites, 300 Court Street, Charleston, WV 25301 Chief Maintenance Engineer – Full time Compensation Range: $83,000 - $90,000 Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and the specific location of the role. Job Description What You Will Do: Lead, train, and mentor an engineering team that keeps safety, service, and standards at the core. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems—be the hotel’s MVP when things go sideways. Strategically plan and execute the capital and engineering budgets. Manage inventory and scheduling to ensure productivity. Champion our loss prevention and safety programs to protect people and property. Partner with leadership to support renovations and preventive maintenance projects that elevate guest experience. What We Are Looking For: 5+ years in engineering. Proven leadership skills. Budget & P&L experience. Knowledge of safety codes. Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable with CMMS, Workday, and other systems. Flexible availability for nights, weekends, or holidays.
