Litigation Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be confident handling a wide range of litigation tasks independently and will bring strong courtroom and pretrial experience to the role. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day litigation activities with minimal supervision. Conduct and defend depositions with confidence and strategic insight. Draft and argue motions in court, including dispositive and procedural motions. Handle pretrial matters including discovery, case strategy, and client communications. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in Louisiana. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting. Demonstrated ability to take and defend depositions. Proven courtroom experience, including oral argument. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently. Preferred Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
