Commercial HVAC Estimator

Base Salary + Commission | $150,000–$250,000 yearly Full-Time | Portland, OR Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Build the Future of Our Commercial HVAC Division Join Sun Glow Inc.'s growing commercial division as a Commercial HVAC Estimator , using your industry knowledge to review plans, perform takeoffs, prepare accurate and competitive estimates, and help secure profitable commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform material, equipment, and labor takeoffs Develop project budgets, proposals, and bid packages Build and maintain estimating worksheets and cost breakdowns in Microsoft Excel Communicate with contractors, customers, vendors, and internal teams Coordinate with project management and field teams on awarded projects Benefits Package 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with up to a 4% company match, 2 weeks of paid vacation, with accrual beginning on day one, 7 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave annually, Company-paid gym membership, Company take-home vehicle, where applicable Required Qualifications 3+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, materials, and installation practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, mechanical plans, specifications, and bid documents Experience preparing competitive commercial bid proposals and project budgets Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple estimates, priorities, and bid deadlines simultaneously Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Why Grow With Sun Glow?
