Position: Employment & Training Support Professional 1 

Location:  Bloomfield, CT

Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour

Available Positions: 

• 35-40 Hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00am-6:00pm and Tuesday 8:15am-4:15pm
• 35-40 Hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:15am-3:30pm
• 35-40 Hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00am-4:00pm and Tuesday 8:15am-4:00pm

("Hours for all three positions may vary based on program needs. Flexibility to accommodate program requirements is required.")

S ummary: 

• Provides orientation, training, and supervision of individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include implementing employment plans designed to maximize worker progress and assure job is performed to specifications. Individuals with job coaching, human services, direct care, and residential experience strongly encouraged to apply! 

  Qualifications:   

• High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year supervisory or human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

  Requirements: 

• Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. 
• Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of a reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. 
• Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. 
• Individuals who are CT DDS Med Certified are encouraged to apply.
