Position/Specialty: MedSurg RN

Shift: 4x12s, Days 7a-7:30p

Ratios: 1:6-7, Staffing plan supports 1:6 normal ratios but if there is an unplanned absence that cant be covered the unit will flex to 1:7

Weekend REQ (Y/N): Yes, every other weekend

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): Yes, prn low census

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities (Y/N): Yes

Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: Prefer experience, 2 years

First-time travelers accepted: (Y/N): Yes

License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

Certifications REQ: BLS Certifications Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS

Special Requirements: Epic experience

Skills Required: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Insulin, Rapid Response

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
