Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist (preferred) Additional Job Standards Certification or training must come from an accredited agency Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Capability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week are eligible for all benefits listed above Employees scheduled less than 20 hours are only eligible for the 401(k) Plan Employees scheduled on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
