Patient Services Representative, Occupational Health - Twin Cities Orthopedics

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties

This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM out of our Eden Prairie location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for Occupational Health and MRI patients
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff and Health Quotient
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Customer Service experience required
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment.
• Ability to lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
