Located in scenic Western New York near the Pennsylvania border, this city serves as the regional hub for healthcare in the area, with Olean General Hospital, a 186-bed hospital that provides care to more than 160,000 residents across southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. **Case Assignments** General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, endo, vascular, GI, Urology, and Podiatry. **Team Highlights:** Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a collaborative voice, while supporting and helping everyone deliver care excellence. **Responsibilities:** Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed **Requirements** Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists **Lifestyle:** Dunkirk offers the pace and affordability that make work-life balance achievable.
