JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead successful shifts and support front-of-house operations at Mexican Sugar. As a Service Manager, you will prepare the restaurant and team for service, uphold ourstandardsand create a luxurious Latin American environment for our Team Members and Guests. COMPENSATION Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 per year,plus monthly profit share BENEFITS: THE GOOD STUFF Flexible schedules Up to17 daysof Paid Time Off 401(k) match Medical, dental and vision insurance after60 days Free access to mental health services Growth and development opportunities EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment Premium,upscaleor high-end restaurant experience preferred Proven ability to lead shifts, coach Team Members and uphold hospitality and operational standards Results-driven,trustworthyand team-oriented leadership style Strong communication,organizationand problem-solving skills Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus Food Manager certificationrequired Ability towork days, evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUSINESS DRIVER Lead successful shifts through thoughtful preparation, clearcommunicationand consistent follow-through Drive sales through memorable Guest experiences and high-energy, service-oriented leadership Monitor labor, staffing and productivity andmake adjustmentsas needed Support scheduling, inventory,orderingand cost-control responsibilities Maintain a safe,organizedand polished restaurant EXPERIENCE CURATOR Deliver attentiveservice thatremainstwo steps ahead of our Guests' needs Maintain a visible presence and conduct regular table visits and restaurant walkthroughs Resolve Guest concerns promptly, professionally and with sound judgment Ensure food and beverages meet our quality,recipeand presentation standards Partner with the Culinary and Bar Teams to deliver seamless service Supportspecial eventsand activations that bring Mexican Sugar's Brand DNA to life PEOPLECHAMPION Assistwith hiring, onboarding,trainingand developing Team Members Ensure the team has the knowledge,toolsand resources necessary to succeed Create a positive, accountable culture through consistent coaching,recognitionand feedback Fosterstrong communicationand collaboration between the front-of-house and culinary teams AOR OWNER Own your designated Area of Responsibility and its operational and financial results Complete assigned scheduling, inventory,trainingand administrative responsibilities accurately and on time Identifyopportunities for improvement and communicate thoughtful solutions Participate in Manager meetings and support other AORs when business needs require OPERATIONAL LEADER Complete opening and closing responsibilities and ensure the restaurant is prepared for service Maintain accountability for service execution,cleanlinessand operational readiness Ensure responsible alcohol service and proper food safety,sanitationand workplace safety practices Follow our policies and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements Weparticipatein the E-Verify program.
