Production Supervisor

Job Description Position Title: Production Supervisor Wage: $25-$28/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm-12:00am We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a production team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supporting employees, resolving issues, and ensuring customer expectations are met. This is a direct hire opportunity in Ixonia, WI. Production Supervisor Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Supervise and lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals - Provide direction, coaching, and support to production employees - Schedule and assign employees to meet production demands - Monitor production processes and adjust priorities as needed - Ensure employees are following work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards - Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime - Track production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions - Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and skill levels - Conduct employee performance feedback and address attendance or performance concerns - Maintain accurate production records and reports - Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement - Support lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements - Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment Production Supervisor Requirements: - Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred - Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations - Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Experience with quality standards and production metrics - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety - Basic computer skills and ability to learn production tracking systems - Experience in packaging, assembly, plastics, or manufacturing environments - Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement - Experience training and coaching production employees - Experience working with production schedules, staffing, and workflow management - Manufacturing production environment - Standing, walking, and interacting with employees throughout the shift - Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities IND103 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
