The Senior Driver will be responsible for safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle. Transports materials/equipment from point A to point B; can be customer facing, but not required.

Responsibilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Usually works with minimal supervision, works independently

Requirements

Some travel required. 80%-90% travel depending on division & location (mix of local and longer distance with overnight stays)

Driving Requirements

Driver Application for Employment, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Forms:

• Driver Disclosure and Release
• Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
• FMCSA Certificate of Awareness
• Driver Certificate of Violations
• Driver Statement of On Duty Hours Road Test
• Copy of Driver's License
• Copy of Medical Certificate

Education & Experience Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent. Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements

Preferred:

• Industry specific license(s)

Experience Requirements:

• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
• Clean driving record
• 2 to 5 years of technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
• Ability to drive overnight
• Ability to cross-borders and obtain valid passport
• Ability to drive difficult routes
• Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution
