As a Security Operations Center Patrol Officer - Tech Headquarters in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to location policies and procedures.
• Assist with security-related incident reporting, alarm response, and/or observation of facility conditions that could impact daily operations or business continuity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Some SOC Experience is highly preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
