Software Engineer Level 3

Level 3 Software Engineer will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining containerized systems running in Kubernetes. However, will also participate in requirements gathering and assisting the Information Assurance team in maintaining security paperwork.

This position is 100% on-site .

Education and Experience:

Required:

• A Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience -or- a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
  
• 4+ years experience with Java, 3+ years with Python and JavaScript, and 2+ years with shell scripts
  
• 5 years building and maintaining systems running on Linux or other UNIX-like systems
  
• 2 years working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams in deploying and troubleshooting container-based systems
  

Desired:

• Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
  
• 2 years experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
  
• Experience with NiFi
  
• Requirements management
  
• Maintaining systems documentation
  
• Experience with cross-domain systems
  

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to sit for a CI polygraph, if needed
