Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients on the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medication, and document patient conditions effectively.
• Educate patients and their families about ongoing care and treatment plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patients' conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid for practice in Vermont or multistate compact eligibility.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and excellent documentation skills.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, etc.) a plus.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
