Our client is assembling a next-generation AI engineering team to reimagine the claims lifecycle with AI and Generative AI. This early-stage, high-impact initiative emphasizes rapid experimentation, iteration, and delivery of real-world AI solutions that improve claims triage, investigation, and operational efficiency. Senior AI Engineers will design AI-driven applications, integrate LLMs and modern AI frameworks, and build scalable services that move concepts into production.

Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-driven applications and services to enhance claims processing and decision-making.

• Build and integrate solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate in a fail-fast environment.

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI workflows.

• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for a growing AI platform.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business problems into technical AI solutions.

Experience Requirements:

• Strong experience in Python development.

• Hands-on experience building backend or full-stack applications with exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI.

• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, or scalable application architecture.

• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, experimental environments with evolving requirements.

• Preferred: Experience with LLMs and Generative AI frameworks.

• Preferred: Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks or agentic AI.

• Preferred: Experience with JavaScript/Node.js and front-end React.

• Preferred: Experience tuning or deploying AI models in production.

• Ideal backgrounds include application development transitioning into AI or ML engineering expanding into broader AI solutions.
