Position Highlights

• High-Acuity Experience: Excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills in a high-volume Level II trauma setting with dedicated 24/7 physician, NP, and pharmacy tech support.
• Inpatient Task Floating: If overstaffed, floating is restricted strictly to inpatient Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU areas to assist as a task nurse only —no full floor assignments.
• System Support: Full charting framework utilizing EPIC, Omnicell, and Alaris pumps.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated, permanent ED experience. No first-time travelers (minimum 1 completed travel contract required).
• Radius Restriction: Must reside over 100 miles away from all Monument Health facilities.
• License: Active South Dakota (SD) or valid Compact RN license in hand.
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are strictly required. CPI/MAB preferred.
• Clinical Comfort: Must be willing to participate in rotating sexual assault evidence collection alongside permanent staff (comprehensive 24/7 quality coordinator guidance provided).
• Scheduling Flexibility: Open to variable shift holes (ranging between 0630, 1000, 1200, 1400, and 1830 starts). No day/night split within a single week. High weekend rotation expected.
