Certified Medical Dosimetrist
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the Radiation Oncology team, the full-time Certified Medical Dosimetrist will design and generate radiation dose distributions, perform dose calculations, and ensure adherence to treatment plans while working remotely from eligible states. Key responsibilities Designs and measures radiation dose distributions and performs dose calculations Provides oversight for high-level treatment procedures in external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy Prepares treatment plans and documents pertinent data accurately according to department policies Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Required) Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy performing Dosimetry (Preferred) Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) (Required) Radiologic Technologists certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Preferred)
