• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general medical disorders
• Conduct evaluations, treatment interventions, and team conferences
• Utilize computerized charting systems (EPIC) effectively
• Manage a dynamic schedule and high-volume caseload
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient care
• Adapt treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs
• Supervise certified occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students

Requirements of the Acute Care Staff Occupational Therapist

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• BLS Certification
