You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to place orders, arrange delivery, and resolve procurement issues during a contract assignment covering September through December 2026. This is an onsite, first-shift role (7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday) with a 5x8 days schedule. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Identify manufacturing needs and select suppliers that meet quality, service, and value requirements Initiate and manage purchase orders and delivery logistics for parts, equipment, and materials of limited scope and complexity Conduct bidding and negotiate terms to obtain the best price and conditions Use purchasing and materials systems (e.g., EDI or MRP) and standard business applications to process transactions Analyze data and financial reports to inform procurement decisions and resolve supplier or order issues Prioritize assignments and work with general direction to meet production timelines Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role 2–4 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience Aerospace industry experience required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Knowledge of purchasing and negotiation methods, procurement-related legal/regulatory requirements, and basic continuous improvement concepts Ability to use purchasing/materials systems (e.g., EDI or MRP) and standard business software Strong analytical skills, including ability to read and interpret financial reports and calculate discounts/percentages Effective negotiation and communication skills Here's What Else Might Help You Out Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) preferred Pay Range $46.91 - $58.64/hour #J-18808-Ljbffr NextDeavor
