Rough Fab Assembler (RFA) Overview Rough Fab Assembler (RFA) is responsible for assembling equipment in preparation for wiring, testing, and final assembly. The RFA assembles off‑the‑shelf OEM equipment, integrates custom panels and brackets, receives shipments, organizes parts, ships assemblies, maintains the warehouse, tools and equipment, and fulfills any other tasks as required by supervisors and management. Responsibilities Read and understand assembly drawings Ensure that all required parts for assembly are available Mark cutting lines and drilling holes on materials Confirm proper fitting and alignment of materials to be assembled Maintain production schedule Maintain clean and organized work area Clean and maintain tools Assemble parts in equipment racks Prepare packaged assemblies for shipment Receive packages Load and ship packages and assemblies Obey safety requirements Qualifications Proven work experience as a Fabricator Good dexterity Attention to detail Good organizational skills Ability to lift 50 lbs.
