Substitute (on-call) Custodians needed at various schools throughout the district. Location: 2400 47th Avenue South, Grand Forks, ND, 58201, United States Base Pay: $16.21 / Hour Job Category: OTHER Employee Type: Substitute Substitute Details On-call position (no benefits), Hours/days: flexible, M-F. Education High School diploma or equivalent Qualifications Basic knowledge of proper housekeeping, floor care, and maintenance procedures; ability to learn proper equipment operation and new procedures; human relations skills; ability to lift sixty (60) pounds. Job Goal Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment. Responsibilities Perform general custodial duties including floor care and general cleaning. Maintain outside appearance of building, walks, and alley. Perform snow removal. Assist other building personnel with special projects. Acquire general knowledge of building mechanical systems. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the building manager or the custodial supervisor. Physical Demands Performing the job duties of this position requires lifting fifty (50) lbs. occasionally, additional occasional lifting less than 50 lbs., reaching, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling.
