Bridge Construction InspectorDewberry is seeking a Bridge Construction Inspector to work on NJDOT projects in the greater New Jersey area. To qualify, candidates must have prior construction inspection experience on NJDOT projects and possess NICET II, III or IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent; NJSAT, ACI – CCTC and Rutgers TCC certifications. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.ResponsibilitiesConstruction office and project administrationDocument management and electronic processing of field reports, technical data, Pre-Activity meetings, and materials test reports.Daily document control and management of contract documentsPrepare meeting agendas and minutes for distributionPrepare and process RFI's, submittals, progress pay applications, extra work billings, and contract change orderSupport CM project managers with coordination and scheduling of field activities.Copy, edit, and proofread proposalsDevelop marketing materials, proposal content, and qualification packages; create presentations for CM pursuit interviewsAssist with processing CM group invoicingMay coach and/or guide a subordinate group.Required Skills & Required ExperienceMinimum 2 years prior bridge construction inspection experience on NJDOT projects required.Must possess NICET II Certification or higher in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction required.OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred.NJSAT, ACI Field Grade I Technician, ACI-CCTC and Rutgers TCC certifications preferred.Additional requirements include excellent communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.Ability to repetitively stoop, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 25 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Don't meet every single requirement?
